Fed Chair Jerome Powell hit with criminal referral by House GOP. And America-first conservatives are saying it’s about time.
Moreover for years, President Donald J. Trump has warned that Powell’s policies are shackling our economy, draining American wealth, and blocking prosperity.

Also, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has thrown the first major punch, formally asking the Department of Justice to charge Powell with perjury. To prove it up even further a deep dive is underway.
Because nothing can be left to question. We must seek the truth. Why did Jerome lie? Clearly this is not just a skirmish in D.C. politics. It’s a direct challenge to the Federal Reserve’s shadowy power. Moreover patriots have been sounding the alarm for years, and now the evidence may finally be catching up to Powell.
Like Luna said she did not want to have to do this but it was necessary. In addition Luna has a kind heart and it is obvious she will do what is right. Because a criminal referral is serious anyone would probably feel for the ole guy but if he lied then it’s on him. After all, Jerome knows better. Meaning, his is the Fed chairman in charge of money figures. .
ACCUSATIONS OF LYING UNDER OATH AND WASTING BILLIONS
Why would someone lie under oath
Although the criminal referral outlines two separate instances where Powell allegedly lied under oath. These statements were made during his June 25, 2025 testimony before the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.
At the heart of the matter? The lavish and suspicious renovation of the Eccles Building — the Fed’s headquarters. What was sold to the public as a $1.9 billion facelift ballooned to an outrageous $2.5 billion, complete with VIP dining rooms, premium marble finishes, modernized elevators, water features, and even a private roof terrace garden.
Powell, however, told Congress these were “minor changes” and “necessary to avoid delays.” Yet, congressional investigators found official planning documents proving these upgrades were anything but minor.
